For buyers

3. Ask questions: contact the seller and request any information that is missing.
4. Verify: inspect the item or validate the service and the identity of the other party before paying.
5. Complete the exchange safely: use a public place when appropriate and choose a traceable payment method you understand.

For sellers and service providers

1. Choose the right category: this reveals the relevant fields and helps people find your ad.
2. Create an accurate listing: use your own photos and describe the condition, features, price, and location honestly.
3. Respond clearly: answer reasonable questions without requesting sensitive information.
4. Agree on safe terms: confirm what is included, the total price, delivery or meeting details, and the payment method.
5. Keep the listing current: edit, pause, or remove it when the offer changes or is no longer available.

Live selling

Where live-selling tools are available, sellers can present products in real time and answer questions. The same listing rules apply: describe items accurately, avoid prohibited products, and do not pressure viewers into unsafe payments.

If something looks wrong

Do not continue a transaction that feels unsafe. Use the available report tools or the Contact page to flag suspicious listings, impersonation, prohibited content, or abusive behavior. Include the listing link and a concise explanation, but never send passwords or verification codes.
